The first concert of the Kenmore Uniting Church's Cool & Classic series will feature the Australian Celtic Women bringing together a breathtaking all-female musical ensemble that transports audiences to an afternoon of high-class entertainment of varied vocal and instrumental delights. With heavenly voices, tantalising harmonies, dazzling costumes and whirlwind fiddle playing, this stunning production delivers an unforgettable time of warmth, memory and exhilaration. Each performer brings years of professional experience across opera, musical theatre, folk, pop and traditional Celtic music, seamlessly blending genres into one powerful and uplifting show.From highly trained opera singers and classical violinist and pianist to a drummer with background in rock, blues and metal, plus a bagpipe player with experience at Festivals and concerts in Australia, Europe and the USA, this group offers a concert with a difference.
Of course, you can spend time chatting with the musicians as well as friends at the afternoon tea following the concert. Parking is available onsite at 982 Moggill Road, Kenmore, with other parking nearby, but ring if disabililty parking is essential for you.
