Designed for young performers who love Musical Theatre and want real performance opportunities.
Two programs • One clear pathway
Performance Lab • Wednesday | Recreational Program
Performance Lab is APAC’s foundation Musical Theatre program for students who love performing and want to build strong, confident skills across singing, acting and movement.
Perfect for students who:
• Love being part of school musicals
• Perform with or are auditioning for local drama/musical societies
• Want structured Musical Theatre training without a high-performance commitment
What students gain:
• Weekly Musical Theatre training with industry-experienced teachers
• Focus on storytelling, character, ensemble work and stagecraft
• End-of-term showcase performances at APAC
in a positive, supportive environment that builds confidence and skills.
In Term 1 you will learn scenes, choreography and songs from Seussical and 13 The Musical.
Performance Lab is the ideal entry point into APAC’s Musical Theatre pathway.
APAC Musical Theatre Performance Stream • Saturday Program | Flagship Musical Theatre Pathway
The APAC Performance Stream is our highest-level Musical Theatre offering, designed for students ready to commit to focused training and professional-standard performance outcomes.
This program is suited to young performers who:
• Are developing as triple threats
• Thrive in structured rehearsal environments
What defines the The Musical Theatre Performance Stream:
• Advanced training across singing, acting and dance
• Professional Industry Standard Musical Direction
• Recording studio with Musical Director
• End-of-year production at the Concourse Theatre
This program represents the progression beyond Performance Lab and forms the core of APAC’s Musical Theatre pathway. Students in this stream must also enrol in Singing and either Jazz or Ballet.
Which Program Is Right for your child?
Choose Performance Lab if your child:
• Loves to sing and dance and act and wants to build confidence
• Enjoys musicals at school or in the community
• Is keen to explore Musical Theatre in a relaxed environment
Choose APAC Performance Stream if your child:
• Is looking for extension and learning in a fun and positive semi pro environment
• Wants to work toward major productions
• Is passionate about developing triple threat skills
• Can commit to Musical Theatre, Singing and either Jazz or Ballet
