Wagga Wagga Hindu Temple - Celebrating Shivaratri 2026
About
Wagga Wagga Hindu Temple is delighted to invite you & your family to the Maha Shivaratri celebration.Experience the divine energy begins with Ganesh Puja, followed by the Rudra Abhishekam, a central and deeply revered ritual in which sacred offerings are poured over the Shiva Lingam while Vedic hymns are chanted.
Devotees then chant the 108 Maha Mrityunjay Mantras, a powerful prayer for health, protection, and spiritual upliftment. The chanting fosters a collective atmosphere of devotion and healing energy.
The rituals continue with Panchamrutam, the traditional five-nectar offering, symbolising purity and the nourishment of both body and spirit, followed by Ashtotra Archana, the recitation of the 108 names of Lord Shiva, and Pushpanjali, in which devotees offer flowers as an expression of reverence and gratitude.
The celebration concludes with a Prasadam dinner, bringing the community together in a spirit of unity, sharing, and cultural harmony, which is an excellent opportunity to connect and strengthen our Hindu community.
