North Metropolitan Education Region – Participation Workshop
About
Please join us for a collaborative morning designed to build shared understanding of best practice approaches for supporting at risk young people and the work of the North Metro Participation Service. The session will provide clarity in 2026 around service provision, eligibility, roles and expectations, alongside practical examples into a “day in the life” of a Participation Coordinator to provide insights around the work undertaken with young people. The Central office Participation Unit will also provide an outline of centralised processes regarding NOAs. There will be opportunity for an open Q&A and also to network over morning tea.We would like to invite you to nominate one staff member from your team to attend this morning session that has case management of year 11 and 12 students (SAER) and who would be responsible for submitting Requests for Assistance to our Regions Participation Service.
