About
Legendary Melbourne punk band, The Painters and Dockers are heading to the Victorian High County, bringing their exuberant and eclectic live show to the historic Kevington Hotel on Easter Saturday. Formed in the early 1980’s for a one off show their career now spans over 40 years. With original front man Paulie Stewart and fellow Brassholes Dave Pace and Mick Morris get ready to enjoy classic tunes such as Mohawk Baby, Nude School, Die Yuppy Die, Eat Shit Die and Your Going Home in the Back of a Divy Van.Jointing the Dockers are one of Australia’s more unique independent rock acts, Rudely Interrupted who were one of the first independent bands to be invited to perform at the United Nations in NYC. In 2025 they released their new LP “Emergency” out on Cheersquad Records and are hitting the road playing tracks off the new album as well as classics form their back catalogue.
To kick the show off renowned Canadian/Australian singer-songwriter, Meghan Maike has found inspiration on the road – from Montreal to Clarksdale Mississippi, honing her unique folk-county/Americana style with a little Aussie humour thrown in.
