Echocardiography in Congenital Heart Disease

Suitable for medical professional's who have some experience in echo and would like to increase their knowledge of congenital heart disease.The Education Day (Saturday May 2nd) includes lectures and case examples by experienced sonographers and Cardiologists from Perth Childrens Hospital. Topics will include echo assessment of congenital heart defects such as Tetralogy of Fallot, AVSD, PDA, VSD, TGA and many more! Pre and post op imaging will be included.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided. 8 30am to 4 45pm.
Entry via the main PCH entrance - take the pink lifts to L5. Carparking available on site. Well serviced by public transport (bus). Cost: $200. Limit of 30 people. CPD points certificate will be provided.
The Hands-On half day session (Sun May 3rd) involves rotating through four scanning stations for hands on practice, using volunteers with CHD, under supervision from the faculty. A fifth station will improve understanding of anatomy using 3D models and VR headsets guided by Dr Deane Yim.
9 . 00 am to 12 noon. Entry via the main PCH entrance - take the pink lifts to level 1. Carparking available on site. Well serviced by public transport (bus). Cost: $250. Limit of 20 people. CPD points certificate will be provided.
Please feel free to register for both events (total $450) OR you can register for only for one of the days (Saturday $200 or Sunday $250). Numbers are limited so please register early.
