HDR Workshop: Let's talk wellbeing and self-care
About
Positive psychology and contemplative practices inform this interactive session where we highlight what wellbeing and self-care is for you studying a Masters by Research or PhD. We dig deeper into a toolbox for self-care that can support you, us and we. This workshop will utilise breakout rooms for further engagement throughout the workshop to maximise the formation of a community of practice, peer support and unpacking various concepts in relation to self-care and wellbeing.

Facilitator: Professor Narelle Lemon is a Vice Chancellor’s Professorial Research Fellow and Professor of Education in the School of Education at ECU. An educator, researcher and positive psychology coach with over 30 years’ experience in educational contexts across early years, K-12, higher education, museums, arts and cultural settings, and community. She is passionate about self-care and wellbeing, especially translating the science and evidence-based research into practice for the everyday.
