The Early Music Society of Queensland presents a recorder workshop with Kamala Bain. Recorder players who play at least two sizes of recorder are invited to participate in this two day workshop which will focus on the enjoyment of playing in ensembles as well as technique, breathing, articulation and tone.Kamala Bain is a NZ based recorder player, teacher and workshop presenter. She is a graduate of the University of Auckland and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and has performed in both Europe and Australia. She tutors regularly at the annual Orpheus Recorder Festival in Armidale and at other workshops around Australia and NZ.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included in the ticket price. Although it is a two day workshop, there is the option for Saturday only attendance or Sunday only attendance.
