The Fourth Trimester Begins Now
About
The Fourth Trimester Begins NowPregnancy isn’t just about preparing for birth, it’s also about preparing for what comes after.
Too often, families enter pregnancy and early parenthood feeling underprepared, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own intuition and bodies. This event was created to bridge that gap.
Join us for a nurturing, informative and deeply connective afternoon designed especially for families wanting to feel supported, prepared and held as they move toward the fourth trimester and beyond.
This event is a beautiful opportunity to gather with a like-minded community of local families alongside caring, knowledgeable practitioners who work in the pregnancy, birth and postpartum space, practitioners who don’t just support one moment in time, but who can genuinely walk alongside you through pregnancy, postpartum and early family life.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll begin the afternoon by arriving together and setting the tone for the day, before hearing from our experienced speakers, each sharing insights from their area of expertise to help you feel more confident and supported as you prepare for life with your baby.
The afternoon is designed to feel engaging and embodied, with opportunities to move, breathe and experience what you’re learning in the body, not just the mind. These moments help keep energy moving and make the information easier to integrate and remember. You’re always welcome to participate at your own comfort level.
You’ll enjoy a nourishing afternoon tea, giving you time to relax, connect and begin building relationships with other local families who are in a similar season of life, the beginnings of your postpartum “village”.
This will also be an opportunity to explore and connect with our carefully selected exhibitors and sponsors, who offer supportive services and resources for pregnancy, postpartum and early family life.
The afternoon will also include a joyful demonstration from Groove and Grow, with an opportunity to move, connect and even have a little dance, highlighting how movement, music and connection can support both parents and babies in the early months.
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll explore key themes including:
- Preparing your body for pregnancy, birth and recovery
- Emotional wellbeing and the transition into parenthood
- Nervous system regulation for both parents and babies
- Nourishment, support and postpartum planning
- Gentle movement and connection practices for early family life
We’ll close the event with space to connect, ask questions and continue conversations with speakers and other families.
