Is your teenager ready to learn to drive?

As part of our strong commitment to student well-being and safety, our school has implemented the Keys for Life pre-driver education program.  By participating in this program, our students start their driver’s licence process at school and save money and time when getting their learner’s permit.  The program teaches and focuses on the importance of driving practice, positive attitudes, the risks on the road and ways to plan ahead to avoid road crashes.

Learning to drive can be an exciting time for a young person.  It can also be a little stressful and confusing for parents and learner drivers.  You are invited to attend a workshop with your son or daughter, to find out more about:

• the benefits of driving practice
• how to help your learner get their L and P plates
• your role as a driving supervisor
• tips to make driving lessons less stressful
• common crashes for new drivers and how to avoid these
