-All participants are required to purchase tickets for those events they are attending via TryBooking. No cash transactions will be accepted.

-All participants are required to wear a white Karate Do-Gi during training.

-Participants are required to bring suitable protective equipment e.g. JKA mits, clear mouth guard, females chest protector, males groin protector etc.

-Dan Gradings and Qualification Examinations require prior agreement from Chief Instructor Phil Young Sensei, no later than 27th February 2026

**It is a requirement for every participant to complete the Waiver, Release and Indemnity Form prior to participating in the event. This will be included in the confirmation email;

Karate is not a game of points, weight classes or showy demonstrations. It is a martial art and way of life that trains a practitioner to be peaceful; but if conflict is unavoidable, true karate dictates taking down an opponent with a single blow.

Such an action requires strength, speed, focus, control. But these physical aspects are only part of the practice; they are just the vehicle, not the journey itself.
