Later this year on Saturday 15 August 2026, The Army Lodge will be conducting a commemoration service for the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan. The Army Lodge invites Vietnam Veterans and Veterans of more recent conflicts and peacekeeping operations, Freemasons and families and friends, to concentrate in Kyneton, the secret capital city of Central Victoria, for:• A tour of the historic Zetland Lodge building including its amazing murals and honour boards.
• Addresses by a Vietnam Veteran and founding member of Vietnam Veterans Memorial Lodge, and by a current serving officer in the Australian Defence Force.
• Lunch at the Shamrock Hotel in Mollison Street at 1.00 pm.
WHAT TO BRING: Just your good selves, a hearty appetite, and perhaps your credit card for shopping in historic Piper Street.
COSTS
The day’s expenses will depend on what you choose to eat, drink, or buy.
