Event Overview:
Join Life Saving Victoria for an impactful International Women’s Day 2026 Breakfast, aligned with the launch of the LSV 2030 Strategic Plan and the global IWD theme “Balance the Scales.” This purpose‑driven event brings together senior leaders and change‑makers from emergency services, aquatic facilities, and lifesaving to accelerate gender equality across participation, leadership, and community resilience.
Featuring a panel of respected female leaders, the breakfast will explore practical strategies to remove barriers for women and girls, strengthen inclusive leadership in high‑pressure environments, and create safer, more accessible pathways into aquatic and lifesaving roles. More than a celebration, it’s a call to action to shape a fairer, stronger future by 2030.
This event will be hosted by the brilliant Carol Fox and facilitated by media sensation Sarah Burt, as we celebrate the contributions of our volunteer members, staff, and community in their many roles. We will also recognize outstanding women through LSV's IWD Club awards, which honour their exceptional contribution to lifesaving.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share, network, and connect with like-minded individuals.
