This guided experience begins with a 1 hour presentation on local heritage and stories while you enjoy a sumptuous Devonshire tea. Participants then enjoy a fully escorted drive along a 7 km trail with 32 stations. Each station features a QR code linking to detailed stories and images.The journey explores early settlement in 1831 by Lieutenant William Caswell and convict labour, including Tanilba House gardens with its historic architecture and Caswell’s pioneering spirit. Convict-built walls and an ancient olive tree reveal the resilience behind Tanilba Bay’s early days.
