Griffith University will be hosting a Repair Cafe Week 3 at Gold Coast Campus. The Repair Cafe will be located outside the Leaf Cafe on Wednesday 18 March 2026, 10am to 1pm.Bring along your broken things and our skilled volunteers will show you how to fix it. We can mend clothing and bags, small furniture items, household electrical appliances, electronics and lamps, bikes, tools, toys, & more!
We estimate 30 mins per visit but some things may take longer or shorter so we ask that people come 10 mins before their allotted time.
Do:
- Bring any manual, broken and/or replacement parts, or other accessories required to make it “go”.
- Make a booking (preferably) but drop by we'll do our best to help out!
Please note:
- Only bring things that you can carry yourself (e.g. no large items or furniture).
- No items can be left at the repair cafe.
- You must stay for the duration of your repair.
- Watch batteries replacement or repairs are not possible as we do not carry spare parts.
