Lunch and Learn session invites Brimbank City Council Community Connector Charlie to deliver a face-to-face presentation to carers in the Support for Carers Program. The session aims to help carers better understand the Aged Care Reforms and how they may impact their caring role.Aged care reforms in Australia during 2025 center around the new, rights-based Aged Care Act (effective Nov 1, 2025), focusing on older people's rights, enhanced quality & safety (like 24/7 RNs, care minute requirements), new fee structures (including higher living fees), and simplified home care packages, aiming for a more person-centred, accessible system with clearer standards for providers and residents.
