Join the Jewish Museum of Australia for a five-week course led by experts historian David Solomon and Museum Director & CEO Sidra Moshinsky, inviting you to lean in, listen and learn.
Part history, part text and ideas, part present moment, these sessions explore the foundations of Jewish life across time. Two weeks trace 4,000 years of Jewish history, uncovering the stories, continuities and turning points. Two following weeks dive into Jewish belief, ritual and practice, examining how ideas are lived and re-imagined. The final week explores the big ideas and issues facing contemporary Jewish life, considering antisemitism, identity, culture and change.
