Breathe for Uki
About
“Breathe for Uki” is a once-off, large-scale, memorial fundraising breathwork event created to bring the community together to support Uki’s children. Our beautiful friend Uki was a single mum and tragically lost her fight with cancer in late December. As a tribute to the way she cared for her family, and with all the love we can muster, we are coming together for her kids. The theme of this breathwork event is facing and acknowledging fear, reclaiming your power, and not letting anything stop you in life, just as Uki lived. Uki met life with courage, strength, and determination, even in the face of immense challenge. This evening is an opportunity to honour that spirit by gently exploring what fear has held in your body, what strength already lives within you, and what becomes possible when you reconnect with your inner resilience.
Breathwork will be the central experience of the evening, supported by additional energy healing modalities and a large, experienced support crew to ensure a safe and well-held space. This is a trauma-aware, grief-aware, and supportive container.
Come as you are - no prior experience is needed, although we do need everyone to complete a breathwork waiver here - https://form.jotform.com/252411397714053.
We invite everyone attending to wear💓pink💓as a symbol of breast cancer awareness, love, remembrance, and solidarity for Uki and her kids.
We hope to sell 200 tickets and raise $20,000 in total (incl GoFundMe). All proceeds will be given to Uki's kids, to support them at this difficult time - to pay for rent, bills, groceries.
