Celebrating the 400th anniversary of Britain’s greatest renaissance composer, John Dowland, this stunning lute recital captures the breadth of human emotions from joyous galliards and melancholy pavans, to the intensity of the Chromatic fantasies.
Swedish born lutenist Jakob Lindberg is the world’s leading interpreter of Dowland, having been the first to record the complete works on BIS four decades ago. In the hands the great master lutenist, this will be a brilliant and unmissable event on Australian shores.
