reaching out to ALL wind players! here's your chance to join the Hip Pockets R&B Soul Band!We are organising the BIGGEST Rock Horn Section ever at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Friday 27 February 7PM. Come and join the famous Hip Pockets, we will play Long Train Runnin', Proud Mary, Would I lie to you and of course Long Way to the Top!!
open to ALL woodwind instruments, including ALL brass (!!), saxes, clarinets, flutes, double reeds AND bagpipes.
We will send out parts beforehand, AND there will be one rehearsal/workshop in YARRAGON on Sunday 15 February 1 PM with Hip Pockets Baritone Sax specialist Sara Beale (optional).
ALL PLAYERS must register via this site: we simply need to know how many people to expect and who to distribute parts to before the event.
Feel free to share this invitation to all your friends, music programs and community bands, let's fill the WGAC Forecourt with the biggest Rock Horn Section they've ever seen!
