IAF presents Writers and Poets in the Garden
The Independent Arts Foundation presents an uplifting afternoon of South Australia's of-the-moment literary identities in the spirit of beloved Writers' Week generously hosted in the luscious garden courtyard of TREASURY 1860, 144 King William Street, Adelaide.
The afternoon will be compared by Peter GOERS.
The Writers are:
Tracy CRISP…author, celebrant and five-star actress - author of 'Black Dust Dancing' and 'Surrogate' with her new book 'PEARLS: Memoir Strands' on stage with Pink Shorts Press's Emily Hart.
Walter MARSH … author, journalist - and his sell-out new Scribe book 'The Butterfly Thief: adventure, empire and Australia’s greatest museum heist' . Also author of 'Young Rupert: the making of the Murdoch empire'. Session chaired by journalist Tony Shepherd.
Jude AQUELINA …poet, author, teacher. Has written four books of poetry published by Wakefield Press and bringing to the stage the historic collection she has just edited, 'Chronicle: The first 50 years of Friendly Street'.
Book in at TREASURY for lunch beforehand. Buy drinks at the bar
The Independent Arts Foundation is a not for profit volunteer run member organisation which raises money for grants to young writers and artists.
Consider adding a donation when you book your ticket. Donations over $2 are tax-deductible
Join the IAF for monthly literary nights at Osmond Terrace Function Centre, Norwood Hotel.
This apolitical and independent event is delivered via award-winning producer Joanne Hartstone - who has nine shows in the Fringe, so not busy at all.
The Independent Arts Foundation thanks ticket buyers in advance for paying the ticket fee and purchasing fees.
