⭐️ Matrics Rising Stars Boys Academy 2026 ⭐️
A new pathway for boys netball — from development to Men’s Super League.
Matrics Netball Club is now accepting expressions of interest for our inaugural Rising Stars Boys Academy. Boys aged 16 years and under, of all experience levels, are encouraged to register. The Academy will offer weekly training sessions focused on skill development, game understanding, and confidence in a supportive and challenging environment.
Players will be coached by experienced Super League Men’s players, providing high-quality training and mentorship. The Academy forms the first step in Matrics’ boys development pathway, with the long-term goal of progressing athletes toward our Men’s Super League program. Academy players will also be considered for selection in our inaugural Winter Boys Netball team, competing in the 2026 M-League season commencing April 13.
No prior netball experience is required—players new to the sport will be supported to develop their skills alongside more experienced teammates.
Initial Training will be at SAUCNA Courts, corner of Anzac Highway and Goodwood Road, and continue throughout the season:
Tuesday 24 March – 6:00pm–7:30pm (SAUCNA Courts)
Tuesday 31 March – 6:00pm–7:30pm (SAUCNA Courts)
Tuesday 7 April – 6:00pm–7:30pm (SAUCNA Courts)
Season games begin Monday April 13
