2026 - Year 7 Family Welcome Evening

Dear Year 7 Parents / GuardiansThe Academy of Mary Immaculate invites all Year 7 students and their families to the 2026 Year 7 Welcome Evening on Tuesday 10th February, commencing at 5.30 pm.
On the evening, Dr. Bryce Dermody, Year 7 Wellbeing Leader will commence by providing some feedback about the start to the year, cover other important and relevant information pertaining to Year 7 and in particular the Year 7 camp.
Following Dr. Dermody’s presentation, families will formally meet their child’s Mentor Group teacher in their Mentor Group Room.
Then there will be a BBQ in the Kirrip Hub.
For catering purposes, we ask that you please indicate the number of family members who will be attending (including your daughter). We require this information by Thursday 5th February so suitable arrangements can be put in place.
Please note that with regards to the BBQ, the sausages will be Gluten Free. There will also be Veggie Burgers (cooked on a separate BBQ) and salad.
We look forward to seeing you all and continuing on our secondary school journey together.
