It traces one of the most extraordinary partnership in Australian sporting history, between eccentric but visionary coach Percy Cerutty and his unbeatable miler and 1960 Olympic 1500m champion Herb Elliott. In three short years he transforms a gangly teenager into a world beater. He never loses a race over the mile or 1500m, sets new world records and is regarded by many as the greatest middle distance athlete Australia has ever produced.Dates
