Grandpa's Forever Home: The Pre-Order & Illustration Project
About
Grandpa’s Forever Home is a gentle, faith-filled story that helps children navigate saying goodbye and learn about Heaven - a place where there is no more sickness, tiredness, or pain. This book was written by self-published author Tiffany Louise Edwards. As a mother, fiancé, and cancer survivor, Tiffany wrote this story to honour her beloved Grandpa and to help her children navigate the journey of loss, cancer, and Heaven.
Storyline: James, Rose, and Belle love their Great-Grandpa - a brave, retired police officer and a man who loved Jesus very much. But when both Grandpa and their Mummy face battles with cancer at the same time, the children have big, scary questions.
About The Project: We are now in the exciting stage of bringing this story to life! I have partnered with Kiran Akram, she is a talented children’s illustrator – having illustrated over 500 children’s books. This project is about more than just a children’s book; it’s about creating a legacy for our children and a resource for any family facing similar conversations about illness and loss.
How Your Support Helps: By pre-ordering your copy today or contributing to our illustration fund, you are directly funding:
• The Illustrations: Helping us pay for professional illustrations.
• The Print: Covering the costs of high-quality book printing.
• The Mission: It is our hope that this story can be shared with other families, schools, libraries, hospitals, and organisations.
How It Works:
1. Choose your ticket: Select the ticket you would like to purchase, from a book pre-order through to a project donation.
2. The Timeline: Once our illustrations are complete and the books are printed, we hope to have the finished copies sent out in March/April 2026.
3. Delivery: We will arrange for local collection in Scone NSW, Australia, or postage to your door once the first edition is ready!
Thank you so much for helping to bring this story to life - we hope this book brings comfort to many families going through similar life challenges.
