Two voices. Many strings. Endless Stories.Brooke Taylor and Delsinki are The Deserters—a powerhouse duo crafting raw, honest songs delivered with grit, heart, and a good dose of dry humour. Their sound spans baroque textures, dusty country, classic folk and low-down blues, all tied together by rich harmonies and road-worn storytelling.
With deep roots in Melbourne’s music scene, they’ve been hitting stages across the city, throughout regional Victoria, and on the folk festival circuit—turning heads and winning ears along the way.
Their debut album, produced by Mick Thomas, is out in Feb —ushering in a bold new chapter for two of the scene’s most respected and road-tested artists.
