Victorian Longarm's Safety Course
About
The Firearms Safety Course is designed to support those in the community who wish to engage in recreational shooting in Victoria.It is a requirement of the firearm licensing framework that those who want to apply for a firearm licence to complete an approved firearm
safety course.
This course will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete and there is a multiple choice exam and candidates who successfully pass will be issued with a Longarm's Safety Course Certificate.
The certificate will need to be supplied to the Licensing and Regulation Division should they choose to proceed to apply for a firearms licence.
