A live, in-person workshop for midwives, doulas and midwifery students. Held at Birth Time: The Village, in Annandale, Sydney.In the birth world, the ability to create safety is a superpower. Safety is the foundation of relational care and trauma-aware practice, as well as the key to straightforward birth. In this workshop we use interactive, creative practices to explore and discover what safety means to you, and how it can protect you and the families you care for. Folks who have previously done this workshop say it is fun, relaxed, social and really interesting.
Please bring: A packed lunch (or you can wander to a nearby café), a journal or notepad to write in & a pen, and whatever you like to draw with - pencils, watercolours, crayons, chalks etc. I will have art supplies available on the day as well.
