Spirometry Seminar - One Day Intensive Refresher

We are inviting participants who have attended the Lung Health Promotion Centre's 2 day course 'Spirometry Principles & Practice', from 2011 onwards to register their interest in attending a one day refresher seminar on spirometry on Friday 24th April.
The current Spirometry Training Courses Position Statement of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science and the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand recommends follow up training within 12 months of the initial course and then every 3 years after that.
The cost of the one day seminar will be (inc GST).$300.00
The seminar will include a review of test performance, criteria and quality assurance and perhaps some interpretation of results in the morning. The afternoon activities will depend a little on the results of a written questionnaire and task sheet we will ask those enrolled to complete and return to us in advance of the course. The purpose of the questionnaire/task sheet is to allow us to determine areas of concern for you and others participating in the seminar and provide education accordingly.
