Gracious Hands presents a Family Fun Quiz NightGracious Hands is a Zambian non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering individuals in vulnerable situations. Currently, we are helping raise funds and resources for Mwakalume Early Childhood Centre, a school located in Chikwasha Village, approximately 100 kilometres from Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
With no schools operating within a 10km radius, Mwakalume was established to provide accessible and safe education for local children. To date, despite being in a recognised area of poverty, the community has been able to build one classroom serving 151 children aged 3-12 years. Their goal, as they are able, is to build a fully functioning school.
Our goal is to raise AUD $5,000 to build a much-needed second classroom so that the children can attend full time rather than part time due to lack of facilities. To help achieve this, we are hosting a Quiz Night on Saturday, 14 March.
$10 per person (Quiz ONLY) or $15 with sausage sizzle and drink.
Great prizes to be won and Silent Auction on the night.
