CENTENARY SCHOLARSHIPS: Exciting Scholarship Performances
About
This concert is a performance by the applicants of the Michaela Collingwood Centenary Scholarship, previously called the Royal Schools Anniversary Scholarship. It is a wonderful way to showcase excellent young musicians on various instruments or voice and makes for a most enjoyable concert. To celebrate the Centenary and 20 years since the Scholarship was started, an elegant high tea will be served after the concert. The Scholarship was first awarded in 2006, during the 80th anniversary year. This year, to celebrate the Centenary there will be two awards of $5000 and $3000. The Scholarship allows for an outstandingyoung WA musician to undertake a musical ‘project’ of their choice. Celebrate Mother’s Day with us.
