TWO FULL DAYS, in-person program for therapists and other clinicians in a Queensland Sjunshine Coast havenSandplay Therapy is confirmed by clinicians and researchers as a powerful, transformative therapy that WORKS for a broad range of clients, - children, adolescents and adults. A trained Sandplay Therapist helps their clients discover, disclose or work through what is hidden so they find healing, sustained change and growth - regardless of their ability to verbally communicate. Children refine pathways to manage behaviour or distress, adolescents refine identity, and adults find meaning.
Participants can engage in respectful, non-confrontative activities through which they will experience sand, water and created images. They will explore how and when to make sandplay magnetic in their own settings, and to distinguish themes and clinical clues as therapy progresses. Heather will share her 20 years of Sandplay Therapy experience. She will ensure that all questions, from either beginners or experts, find answers. Participants will also examine a completed Sandplay Therapy case, with full clinical outline and sandplay scene photographs.
