NSW Cecchetti Ballet students are invited to audition for the 2026 Cecchetti NSW scholars Program. This is a unique program and a wonderful opportunity for students to be coached by Nationally and Internationally acclaimed professional dancers and teachers.

Audition - Sunday 22nd February 2026

Location - Studio N138, Network House,
The McDonald College
17 George St,
North Strathfield

Audition Fee $55

Junior Scholars Audition-10-11:30am
Must be under 13 years of age at 1 January 2026 and have passed Grade 4 or above.

Intermediate Scholars Audition-11:45am-1:15pm
Must be under 15 years of age at 1 January 2026 and have passed Grade 5 or above.

Senior Scholars Audition-1:45-3:15pm
Must be under 20 years of age at 1 January 2026 and have passed Intermediate or above.

12 Students will be selected for each level.
Adjudicators decision is final.

Students who are selected must be able to commit to attending the scholars masterclasses on the following dates, times as per audition.
Scholars will also perform at the Cecchetti Conference in July 2026 and the Gala Concert in October 2026. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled on the scholars masterclass days with the possibility of other rehearsals necessary closer to the performance days.

All Scholars classes will be held at Lane Cove Dance Academy and Whitney Schofield Dance Academy.

Exam uniform to be worn. (Reminder grades 4 -6 teal leotard)
