Blind Freedom Short Film World Premiere
About
Set in rural Australia during the Great Depression, Blind Freedom is a short film which tells the story of two orphaned sisters living on the fringes of a wary community. When a blind boy goes missing, fear and suspicion divide the town, placing young Ruby at the centre of a moral storm. As kindness begins to challenge prejudice, an event unfolds that will change the community forever.Filmed in the beautiful surrounds of Echuca Moama, Blind Freedom is a short film by Craig Wyhoon and has won over 20 Australian and International film awards.
Come and walk the carpet at the World Premiere event. There are two ticket offerings, General Admission and a VIP Ticket experience. VIP Ticket holders are invited to an exclusive pre-show experience including canapés, VIP photo opportunity, priority seating, a private screening of the short film Loki and Me, and the opportunity to meet and chat with the stars of Blind Freedom before the main feature short film. Drinks are at bar prices.
General Admission ticket provides you access to the main feature short film only.
Tickets prices are also available for children (15 years and younger)
Funds raised from the event will be donated to Centre for Eye Research Australia.
