Austin Health - Residential Inreach - RACH Nurse's Skill's day

Shared Skills. Shared Care. Better Outcomes

Aim: Residential Inreach Residential Inreach is providing one day full of workshops, simulation labs & networking opportunities for Registered or Enrolled Nurses working in Local Aged Care Homes. We are focusing on content that may upskill management of common resident presentations and opportunities to learn more about how our program can offer care in place for residents.

Workshops and Skill Labs:
- Palliative care
- Dementia specific care
- Basic Catheter Management
- Falls Assessment
- Heart Failure
- Deterioriating Residents & clinical handover

This day would not be possible without the support of
- Residential Inreach Clinical Nurse Consultants and Geriatricians who are preparing and presenting the content
- Northwest Palliative Care Consortium
- Austin Health Clinical Education Centre

Your details will be review and attendance place's will be offered late Feb/early March. This is to ensure we have equitable across our catchment.
