Gillian Reeve - Polio PlusOriginally from England I emigrated here when I was 21. I have lived in Sydney, Alice Springs, Perth, Albany, Bairnsdale and now the Gold Coast. I am a bookkeeper by trade specialising in teaching people and businesses bookkeeping systems and offering ongoing support. As of August last year I have officially retired and am enjoying the Gold Coast life and travel.
I joined Rotary in 2001 at the Bairnsdale Club, I have been a Teasurer, Secretary, President and Foundation Chair there. In 2021 I transferred to the Mermaid Beach Club and was Foundation Chair and President for two years. As at 1 January I am now a member of the Hope Island Club and look forward to my time there. At a district level with 9820, I have been Treasurer, IT manager and part of the training team. Here in district 9640 I am serving my third year as Polio Plus chair. As well as trips to India with Polio Plus I have travelled to Nepal and Indonesia on various Rotary adventures.
