WHEN? TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2026.
Afternoon event, registrations from 2.30pm, event start 3pm sharp.
3pm: CFIG Annual General Meeting - all past, present and prospective members and sponsors are invited and encouraged to attend.
WHAT? Following the CFIG AGM:
- CFIG Team: Project Updates and presentation of 2026 Trial Research, Development & Extension (RD&E) Book, featuring trial results and data from 2023-2025.
- Chloe Rout (UWA PhD student) presentation on 'Agronomic barriers and opportunities for intercropping canola and legumes in WA'.
- Ag Tech paddock demonstrations & informal Q&A sessions with industry experts and local Corrigin farmers already employing robotic and drone technology. Guest presenters include Tom Holcombe (SwarmFarm Robotics WA portfolio manager) who will demonstrate how the SwarmFarm Robot is being used for spraying and also (for the very first time) raking hay in broadacre farming businesses such as Steven and Amy Lee's. Jonathan Chick (NextGen AgTech) will then demo two drones: one specialising in weed control spraying, the other to produce contrast mapping, an accurate and timely tool for spraying weeds.
- Rabobank's Stefan Vogel (RaboResearch General Manager for Australia & New Zealand) will give much valued insight into the Outlook for 2026, to help you think differently and plan with confidence.
- RaboTruck Sundowner: Finish the afternoon with a few cold refreshments and dinner at the RaboTruck, a fantastic event space generously provided by event and group sponsor Rabobank.

- At the event photography, audio, and video recording may occur by CFIG or Rabobank representatives, which may be used for future promotional, marketing or related purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please inform CFIG or Rabobank staff upon arrival.
