About
Teen Learners EnglishOur program helps students explore the values, attitudes and beliefs that shape who they are and how they interact with others. Through hands-on activities, group discussions and real-life scenarios, students learn about empathy, respect, decision-making and standing up for what they believe in. Students will work towards developing their own public service announcements about a cause that they value. It’s designed to build confidence, encourage open-minded thinking and help students better understand themselves and those around them.
Class starts at 8.30am sharp for an hour, then you’re given half an hour to interact with our beautiful rescue animals if you like before finishing at 10am.
Drop off available or stick around at our tea and coffee station.
If bringing an extra sibling not participating in the class there is a $5 cash free play fee to interact with the animals and play on the playgrounds. Payable in person on the day.
Children must be supervised around the animals at all times, please do not allow them to lift the gate pins out and please make sure to close all pen gates as you enter and exit each pen. Do not stick your fingers in the bird and rat cages. Please be mindful of little ones around the duck water kiddy pools.
