The 2026 Monto Show will be held on ANZAC Day weekend, and this year’s theme, “We Will Always Remember Them,” is a heartfelt tribute to the men and women from our community who have served in the Australian Armed Forces. They were farmers, factory workers, timber cutters, volunteers, and neighbours—everyday Australians who gave generously both in service and at home.

We remember them not only as soldiers, but as sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers—people who built lives, raised families, worked the land, and contributed to the strength and spirit of their local communities.

With 23 diverse Sections, the Monto Show proudly showcases everything from industry to hobbies – a true celebration of our region’s talent and passion. We’re incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated team of Stewards who make it all possible. Events you can expect include Saturday night rodeo, Campdraft, Extreme Horseman Trials, Show Horse and Pony, Challenge, Two Handed Cutting, Stud Cattle, Commercial Cattle, Woodchop, Chainsaw, Poultry, as well as Pavillion Sections of Photography, Fine Art, Handicraft, Childrens Craft & Lego, Upcycling, Floral Art, Horticulture, Pot Plants and Ferns, Colouring In & Design, Literacy, Cakes, Biscuits and Slices, Junior Cooking, Jams, Fruit and Vegetables, Pasture Paddocks and Farm Produce.
