Put on your glad rags and head to the Tav for a night of guitars, melodies and big choruses with THE MANSIONS telling stories of love, loss and city life. They will be joined on the night by special guests GD DALEY & THE SILENT PARTNERS playing their first gig and kicking things off at 8.30pm.THE MANSIONS feature Mark Sinton out the front (no stranger to the Tav stage), along with Jeff Samin, Dean Crawford, Matthias Ziegenbein and Richard Oldfield. They want things slightly broken and vulnerable, and believe what’s between the notes is important... and somehow they make all these things shine.
GD DALEY & THE SILENT PARTNERS feature Gerard Daley (Under the Sea, ex-The Stuntcar Drivers) out the front - fresh from spending last year playing solo acoustic shows, but now with a 3-piece band in tow for the first time in over 20 years. His Silent Partners are Ringo Meanie on drums (The Meanies), and Nick Drane on Bass (Fudge).
So grab yourself a ticket and head to Merri Creek Tavern on Friday 27 March at 8pm for a night that guarantees you’ll feel better walking out than you did walking in - even if you’ve just had the best week ever!
The Tav is a standing-room only venue, seating can be provided for people with a disability.
