Joe from Joe’s connected gardens is kindly hosting us.This session is ONLY for over 6 year olds. Please do not attend with younger siblings in this group.
Make sure to book a ticket PER person attending including parents and siblings as numbers are capped.
This is a new kind of community garden where neighbours have joined together to link their gardens and share the harvests. It is not just about growing food but creating community and fostering respect for the earth and each other.
Joe introduces the current seasons growth in the shared gardens, he runs hand so activities like planting, pickling, juicing and weeding. He often has volunteer workers from all over the world. There is a group discussion and practical activity every week.
This is not an insured event so everyone is responsible for their own safety.
Make sure to cancel your tickets if you can’t make it.
Bring a donation (if you can), water bottle and wear clothes that may get dirty.
