About
We are super excited to have 2 of the best umpires from Victoria, officiating our game on Saturday and also providing the local umpire community a workshop on Game and Match Management on the Sunday 22nd February.Sarah Arrowsmith and Adam Hoogwerf are a part of the Netball Victoria High Performance Umpires Program that officiate the Victorian Netball League. Both umpires have attended the National Netball Championships on multiple occasions. We also have Maddie O’Nial attending as an umpires coach. Maddie hails from regional Victoria and travel 3 hours each way to umpire the Victorian Netball league. She has attended multiple National Netball Championships.
GAME & MATCH MANAGEMENT – Elevate Your Umpiring
Game & Match Management is designed to take umpires to the next level, sharpening their understanding of the protocols within Section 13 of the Rules of Netball and giving them the confidence to apply them with clarity and authority.
This dynamic program empowers umpires to recognise when Game Management should be activated, understand how it differs from Match Management techniques, and learn how the two can work together to create a controlled, fair, and high‑quality contest.
Umpires walk away more assured, more consistent, and better equipped to manage the flow of the game — no matter the pressure, pace, or intensity on court.
