The premiere winter event in the Livingstone Shire, the fifth Capricorn Coast Writers Festival will be held from on Saturday 30 May 2026. It’s for readers and writers and people who love to hear stories and meet new people. Yeppoon is the perfect setting to hear and share stories by the sea and, thanks to the support of the Livingstone Shire Council, Keppel Coast Arts, RADF, Bendigo Bank and local businesses, the line up for this year’s festival is exceptional.
Showcasing the talent of local authors has always been a goal of the festival and the 2026 Capricorn Coast Writers Festival proves it. The guest authors at this year’s festival will include, Paul Garrety, James Manning, Kate Mahood, Amanda Hock, Mark Avery, Phil Hore, Peter Roper and more!
