Does your daughter struggle with friendship ups and downs?
In this fun and interactive 4-week workshop, she’ll learn how to make and keep great friends, set healthy boundaries, and handle friendship challenges with confidence!
🗓️Dates: This workshop runs over 2 days. Wednesday April 8th and Thursday April 9th. 1pm -3:30pm on both days.
👯♀️ WHAT SHE’LL LEARN:
✔ What makes a good friend and how to grow strong friendships
✔ How to set boundaries and handle tricky friendship moments
✔ The Drama Cyclone—when to step in and when to walk away
✔ How to bring more kindness, empathy, and gratitude into friendships
🎨 PLUS ART & CRAFT and an activity booklet to take home

Session 1️⃣ Growing Good Friendships
•what makes a good friend
•recognise the qualities girls value most in friendships,
•how to make and maintain positive friendships
•identify own friendship values and qualities.
Session2️⃣ Fighting Fair
•what boundaries are and why it is important to have them in friendships
•how to communicate feelings in a healthy way
•learn how to use I Feel and I’m Sorry messages when there is conflict
•understand how gossip spreads and how to stop it.
Session3️⃣ Gratitude, Empathy & Mindfulness (G.E.M.)
•understand the importance of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness
•learn how to listen with empathy and respond thoughtfully
•explore ways to show kindness through random acts of kindness
•reflect on her own strengths and the qualities they appreciate in •others.
Session 4️⃣Best Friends (be your own BFF)
•understand what self-esteem is and why it’s important
•recognise that being a good friend starts with being kind to herself
•identify the qualities that makes her a good friend
•learn how to use positive affirmations to build confidence
Help your daughter build friendships that last and gain the confidence to choose the right friends for her!
This workshop is facilitated by Sarah Derham from Anchor Wellbeing Co.
Sarah is a registered counsellor dedicated to supporting young girls as they navigate friendship, identity and social confidence.
Sarah currently works locally within a school as a counsellor where she supports students daily in their emotional development, conflict resolution and friendship skills. Sarah is passionate about early intervention- giving girls the tools they need to thrive!
