The CWA Barwon Heads branch is once again proud to present our International Women’s Day Lunch: a celebratory afternoon on Friday 6th March from 12:00pm–3:00pm.Join us for a relaxed, community-focused gathering that’s part lunch, part conversation, and part celebration of all things women!
Guests are invited to bring a plate of food to share, along with your drink of choice, and your own plate, cutlery, and glass - think of it as a fancy picnic with purpose!
We are delighted to welcome Kemi Nekvapil as our guest speaker. Kemi is an author, coach and speaker who is committed to making a measurable impact on this world, and is an absolute powerhouse to be in a room with. Kemi will be in conversation with Bella from Heads & Tales Bookstore about her latest book, Grounded Success on Her Own Terms. Books will be available for purchase on the day.
All funds raised will be donated to the Common Ground Project, to support their Staying Grounded program, providing training and employment pathways for asylum-seeking and immigrant women in our community.
Tickets are $35 and will sell out fast, so be sure to secure your place early!
