An intriguing figure: the artistic legacy of convict Joseph Lycett
Dr Ann Hardy, Coordinator of Living Histories Digitisation Lab at the University of Newcastle library brings to life the story of convict artist Joseph Lycett.
Arcadian descriptive views of Newcastle painted by Lycett are in the current exhibition ICONIC LOVED UNEXPECTED.
An overview of projects within the University of Newcastle’s Special Collections and Archives will be featured.
