· Discuss and build understanding of the NIP framework (Notice, Inquire, Provide) for upskilling school staff in their role in supporting students who self-harm
· Identify mental health services that can assist
· Discuss how school leadership and wellbeing teams can increase effective collaboration with external mental health service providers
· Discuss the importance of educator wellbeing in the context of student self-harm
In addition to our BeYou facilitators, Inner East SSS, will speak about the Department of Education’s critical incident process following incidents of self-harm or suicidal ideation. Austin ICYMHS (Community Engagement and Partnerships Team), will speak about the services that Austin ICYMHS provides and how best to access them.
