KSHS International Women's Day Breakfast
About
It is with pleasure that we invite parents and daughters of Kenmore State High School to our 2026 International Women’s Day Breakfast.
The breakfast is an opportunity to meet other parents and students, celebrate women’s achievements and discuss challenges still faced, and how together we can #BalanceTheScales- For ALL Women and Girls - on International Women's Day (IWD) and beyond. This Parent & Daughter Breakfast will have a focus on women but all Kenmore SHS students are welcome to attend.
This year, we welcome special guest speaker Kirsty Dykes to share her story.
Kirsty Dykes is a Regional Environmental & Sustainability Manager at Fulton Hogan Construction, where she leads teams in developing practical, innovative ways to protect the environment and build more sustainable communities. Working across multiple states and territories, she helps projects strengthen their environmental performance, use resources wisely, and deliver real world sustainability solutions in civil construction. Kirsty is also passionate about encouraging more women to pursue STEM careers and see the difference they can make in these fields. Her career shows that you don’t need to have everything figured out in high school. Following your interests, staying curious, and being open to new opportunities can take you a long way!
A light breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to welcoming Kenmore State High School parents, caregivers and daughters to this special event.
