VSB - Auditions for Youth roles in Aladdin!

The Victorian State Ballet is excited to return to The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood this year in June.Following its 2025 world premiere, we are proud to present one of our newsest ballets in the VSB repertoire to NSW audiences - Aladdin full-length ballet production.
We are seeking young dancers-male & female to perform with the company in Act 2 - Sultans Palace scenes.
An audition will be held at the Concourse Theatre on Saturday 9th May 2026 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Requirements are: ages 9 years to 18 years with strong basic ballet technique.
Attire: Neat ballet attire appropriate to male and female dancers, ballet shoes and pointe shoes for 14+ .
Friday 19th June will be a full dress rehearsal at the theatre before the evening show.
All selected dancers must be available to stay on the same day after the audition for rehearsals, for the follow-up rehearsal on Saturday 30th May from 10am to 3pm and the dress rehearsal on Friday 19th June from 2pm prior to the evening show.
Performances are:
Friday 19th June at 7.30pm
Saturday 20th June at 2pm
Saturday 20th June at 7.30pm
Registrations are via trybooking only.
