A simple weekend of ‘A Deeper Silence’ will be offered at Galong, commencing on theafternoon of Friday 17th April, until the afternoon of Sunday 19 April 2026
After coming together in conversation for an evening meal on the Friday night, we will
enter The Silence until Sunday morning. In the monastic tradition, there will be
periods of communal meditation throughout the Saturday, with short readings from
John Main and the WCCM. There will be no other organised activities on the Saturday
- participants will be free to enjoy the stillness of St Clements throughout the day and
the evening, including a labyrinth walk.
After Mass and meditation gatherings on Sunday morning, we will gently emerge from
The Silence mid-morning with a time of reflection and sharing. The weekend closes
with lunch on the Sunday. We then depart by 2pm.
